Meeting Rooms -
The Inn's two air-conditioned public rooms serve different
sized groups:
The ca. 1800 log cabin (400 sq. ft - 18' X 24' X 12'h)
provides you with an quiet living room environment suited for small
groups of 6-12 people, while the 2-story Atrium (pictured here - 1000
sq. ft - 20' X 53' X 22'h) provides space for larger meetings and dining.
The small library adjoining the Atrium doubles as a breakout room.
Outdoor Spaces -
Large wraparound porches and immediate grounds provide
relaxation during breaks, and space for breakout sessions and impromptu
discussions.
Season permitting, your will take advantage of our
grounds and shade from the magnificent 300-year old oak trees. Outdoor
events can easily accommodate 200+ guests.
Guest Lodging -
The Inn has 8 guest rooms: 6 rooms with private baths
on the first & second floors,and two 3rd floor attic rooms (shared
bath). All are heated and air-conditioned. Four guest rooms may be made
up with two twin beds for double occupancy. One ground floor bedroom
is fully handicap accessible. You'll find our neighboring B&Bs happy
to accommodate additional guests -(four rooms at nearby B&B at Laurel
Ridge, and eight at Rosemary House in Pittsboro). Conventional motel
lodging is also available at the Day's Inn and Country Hearth in Siler
City.
Food & Beverage Service -
Food from our kitchen features seasonal locally grown
produce, and would be similar to the seasonal menus offered at our gourmet
dinners. Celebrity Dairy is noted for award-winning goat cheese, and
we can provide cheese trays and appetizers featuring our cheeses. Should
a large party exceed our kitchen's capacity, we can arrange catered
food for your meeting. Guests may bring beer or wine to accompany meals.
Meeting Rental & Cost -
Either of our two meeting rooms may be rented on a
daily basis from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. A two-day minimum rental applies
for weekend meetings and retreats. The Log Cabin rental cost is $200/day,
and Atrium rental $600/day. Nonprofit and educational groups receive
25% discount.
